Inspection Method of Stamping Parts

1. Touch inspection

Wipe the surface of the outer cover with clean gauze. The inspector needs to wear touch gloves to touch the surface of the stamping parts along the longitudinal direction of the stamping parts. This inspection method depends on the experience of the inspector. Whetstones can be used to polish and verify suspicious areas when necessary, but this method is an effective and rapid method of inspection.

 

2. Whetstone polishing

2.1. First clean the surface of the outer cover with clean gauze, and then use a whetstone (20×20×100mm or larger) for sanding, and use a relatively small whetstone to grind the areas with arcs and hard to reach ( For example: 8×100mm semi-circular oilstone).

2.2. The choice of oil stone particle size depends on the surface conditions (such as roughness, galvanizing, etc.). It is recommended to use fine-grained whetstone. The grinding direction of the whetstone is basically along the longitudinal direction, and it fits the surface of the stamping part well. Some special places can also supplement the horizontal grinding.

 

3. Grinding of flexible gauze

Wipe the surface of the outer cover with clean gauze. Grind the surface of the stamping part with the flexible sand net to the entire surface in the longitudinal direction, and any pitting and indentation will be easily found.

 

4. Oil painting inspection

Wipe the surface of the outer cover with clean gauze. Use a clean brush to evenly apply oil to the entire outer surface of the stamping in the same direction. Put the oiled stamping parts under strong light for inspection. It is recommended to put the stamping parts upright on the body. This method can easily find tiny pits, deflated ponds and ripples on stampings.

 

5. Visual inspection

Visual inspection is mainly used to find abnormal appearance and macro defects of stamping parts.

 

6. Inspection tool inspection

Put the stamping parts into the inspection tool, and inspect the stamping parts according to the operation requirements of the instruction manual of the inspection tool.
